Love is in the air or is it in your hair?
Not only you but also your hair seems tired of winter? Lost the sparkle because of the winter grey? Missing sunshine and that healthy vital gloss? Brittle and dry?
The heating in winter dried out my hair a lot and spending more time inside it got bristle and thinner. Luckily, I do not experience a lot of hair loss. However, these days more hair is falling out but also a lot of new fresh hair is growing… In fact, it’s a natural cycle that when spring comes the hair is renewing more intensely. It is like the trees: Old leaves fall from the tree and new fresh ones grow with the beginning of spring.
Of course many of us get into spring and summer preparation very early (you know that bikini body and stuff :P). Yes, spring cleaning not only in the house but also on ourselves. Let’s start from the top! The hair is our crown and the eye catcher on every first encounter.
Therefore, who doesn’t want to make a good and fresh impression?!
Right!
First of all, you need to reduce the habits that dry out your hair. And then give it the glow and moisture back. So here I want to share my tips for this spring I have introduced into my routine and so far, I can see the difference:
Water carefully
Washing the hair less often (every 2-3 days would be optimal) and with not too hot water (because hot water brings the moisture balance of the hair out of centre)
Be gentle
Instead of rubbing your hair dry or even worse blow drying it, try to press your hair gently with a towel
Moisture
Extra moisture is essential to care your hair after washing. I use a moisture cream for the tips
The Extra
On top of these practical things, I thought to give my hair the bit of extra support. With the moving also nails got super brittle and short. Therefore, on top of the vitamin supplement (B,D & K), I am trying these tablets. (boost for the hair renewal)
It’s not a quick fix of course. But I think that my hair and nails are getting stronger and glossier again 🙂
Spring is not here yet, but my hair will get ready by then 😉
I actually already am!!!
What about you? What are you tips and tricks for hair care? Let me know 🙂
