“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”― Roy T. Bennett
Hi there,
The time flies by here in London… And Updating here is not so regular as you may have noticed – Therefore it’s better to follow me on Instagram (@michaelablog).
But now to the topic. These photos have a lot to tell and a speak a story full of contrasts….
I felt extremely lucky to just notice that Esra was spending a few days in the UK and wrote her immediately (sometimes Instagram is so cool, right?!). And I couldn’t believe the good luck as she was free the next days and we met up 🙂 It’s funny that actually we met a few years ago in Berlin and this time our paths crossed again in the British capital. The more excited I was for a catchup.
However, the poor Esra was so unlucky as she was dealing with tooth pain… Being abroad and having to visit doctors that’s not fun (and actually one of my biggest fears…). Nonetheless, we wanted to shoot together in Notting Hill.
BUT… you know… London weather is unpredictable. So it was VERY cloudy AND dark… aha. Bad luck? Probably, but hey, we tried at least and waited for better light, what didn’t happen. Nonetheless, I personally still like the photos 🙂
(and I have to proudly admit that (after a introduction into proper Streetstyle photography) I shot these pictures of Esra and I just LOVE how beautiful she is!
Learning Lesson
This story taught me, that in the end it all depends on your mindset and how you you perceive every situation. Staying optimistic and see the good in every situation is important because your thoughts about it create the reality. Life is only 10% what happens to you and 90% how you handle and react to it. Every challenge that comes across your way offer you a chance to learn and grow from it. And often it helps just by not being to perfectionistic in my case. Learning to appreciate what you have and not constantly comparing!

Danke <3
Ja das stimmt schon... Klar dem Kontext entsprechend zu interpretieren. Aber in der westlichen Gesellschaft ist wahr 🙂
Bis bald <3
