Believing in yourself is really important in allowing you to live your life to the fullest. Without self-confidence, you can’t succeed. But often we don’t believe in ourselves and rather dwell in self-doubts and fear. Especially nowadays, you are easily triggered to compare yourself to others. And speaking the truth, you will always find someone that is better than you… This comparison holds you back from living in the now, see who you really are.
Sometimes it helps to step away from your daily environment and usual routine. This is not as easy as perceived, but believe me, when you step out of your comfort zone by your own you will experience amazing things!

Believe you can and you’re halfway there. Why? If even you yourself can’t believe in your own abilities, who will? How can you convince others if you can’t even convince yourself? To succeed, you must first believe that you can do it. Do that, and you have won half of the battle! Of course the way to your goal might be hard and uncomfortable at times. But no matter, as long as you believe in yourself you’ll eventually reach the destination you set for yourself!

How will you get there? See the positive in the negatives, develop a positive mindset. And, don’t ever doubt your own capability. Remember, everyone is meant for something great, you just haven’t realized your potential yet!

Side note: These pictures were taken during my stay in Bali and the climb on the Batur Volcano was an adventurous challenge. To get up at 2 am and climbing the the way up to the top with the ultimate goal to watch the sunrise was not easy. It was challenging in several aspects on one side the external conditions like cold, wind and rain would not be helping but also the mind contributed it’s part. Believing that you can get to the top and that it will be worth it was so right. Experiencing the sunrise at 6.30 did make you forget all the previous struggles and cold.

Just pure happiness and satisfaction.

    The Golden Apple - Michaelablog

[…] It’s definitely apple picking season right now here in Switzerland. And for all fruit lover you have the choice to between so many different kinds (except you’re allergic like me ? On our weekend Shooting trip we found this beautiful apple farm right before sunset and I’d say it was a super lucky pick. Golden hour – golden apple. Today I want to share my thought on this metaphor to life: Not every apple is the same quality or the same taste. Knowing this you will look out for the ones that seem more appealing to you. But surely even if the apple looks good on the outside you do not know it’s taste in advance. The same applies to life, you have to make decisions small and big every day – not always knowing what effect they will have on your future. However, you can approach it with a positive attitude and indulge the apple as it is and appreciate just the here and now. For sure we strive all just for the best apples but sometimes bad apples come in order to teach us something and let us appreciate the good apples more. This is something that last week taught me and even if these times are harder they are good in their own way too. Next to the bad ones, some apples will turn out as the golden ones. They might turn into the happiest moments of your life but not only these should keep you going. Take whatever comes and keep the positive attitude. This is my wish to all of you for the next week. Think positive! […]
