Happy Sunday!

Before summer temperatures are hitting us again tomorrow I thought to show you the photos I took in Copenhagen. I can definitely say that I fell deeply in love with the Danish Capital even though at our arrival we got surprised by really windy, cold and rainy weather. However, after we left our luggage at the guesthouse we went off to discover the city and of course rent a bike. Apart from Amsterdam I think Copenhagen also one of these great nordic bike-friendly cities. We found a bike rental right at Nyhavn and this area is definitely one of the most eye-catching places. On our arrival day we went to the lovely (and very cool) coffee Grød which serves amazing porridge. The other days we cooked for ourselves as we had a kitchen just for us in the guesthouse 🙂 One thing that I asked myself way too often was: How could Danish people look always so super fashionable and flawless even while riding a bike in the most windy, wet and horrible weather? Well, how you can see I just failed in that 😉 Aha… We spent our days in Denmark mostly driving around with our bikes and soaking in all the beautiful streets and buildings. But as we were not really equipped with the right rain clothes we often went into coffees or the guesthouse to warm us up. – Part two is coming soon 😀
