Happy Sunday!
Sharing the second bunch of photos from Berlin. As we had 2.5 days to explore the German capital we rent a bike for the second day. And as it was the hottest day of that week this travel option was definitely preferable to the public transport. At least you got refreshed when you were driving around but standing in the sun was just unbearable. We had some spots on our list we wanted to visit as for example the Berlin Wall, Potsdamer Platz etc. And of course it was just perfect to stop for lunch in a park and relax 🙂
In the evening we went to the vegan restaurant ‘The Bowl’ which I really recommend. It’s all vegan and homemade and I had undeniably the best sweet potato fries! And also the Superfood Bowls are just to die for, so if you are in Berlin definitely check out this place 😀 To my outfit that day I went for shorts because otherwise driving a bike wouldn’t be so easy 😉 And furthermore a white basic shirt in order to stay fresh and not get sunburned.
On the day before our depart it cooled down and was very windy. Therefore I went for long pants. We went to visit the Brandenburger Tor and I felt so messy and super touristy. Especially because right there Berlin Fashion Week was taking place (the tend was installed behind the monument) and so many fashionable and super styled people were running around. Of course we visited also the Bundestag and saw a lot of Memorials. The most impressive one was the Gedenkstätte which you see on the last photos. They had a museum as well and after our visit we were speechless and felt a big sadness and shock. But I think it is good to not always see nice places but also keep in mind what happened in history and appreciate what we have today and how lucky we can feel ourselves.
So that’s it from Berlin. Our next stop is Copenhagen 🙂 Soon coming more and of course also some new outfits in between 😀
wearing:
